A deadline is more than a date.

Suppose a fictional quote expires September 30 and the instructions require cleared funds by that date. Planning to mail payment on September 30 still leaves an unanswered question: when will it arrive and clear? Ask for the accepted method and timing before assuming the deadline is met.

The example illustrates a question, not a universal processing rule. The same applies to title paperwork: record the responsible party and the source of the deadline instead of borrowing another customer’s timeline.

What this checklist cannot confirm.

This is an organizational aid. It cannot confirm your purchase rights, a tax amount, lender approval, quote validity, state forms, or a processing deadline. Your contract, official instructions and applicable rules determine those details. A checked box is your note, not verification by this publication.
